HINDI film star Aamir Khan’s latest venture, “The Rising”, is being sold to British audiences with the assurance that it features reigning Hindi film queen, Aishwarya Rai, but she had declined when the makers refused to give her more than a bare outline of her character and plot.
`The Rising" depicts India’s first uprising against British rule in 1857.
