Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Spotted In Boston

Abhishek Bachchan recently flew from India to Boston, USA to join his bride Aishwarya Rai were she is busy shooting for The Next Pink Panther (2009) . Aish has been in Boston for the last couple of weeks working on with director Harald Zwart. The Bollywood couple were spotted walking together on the street of Boston enjoying the life. Soon Abhishek will be heading to Namibia for shooting of Drona (2007) . Aishwarya is playing the role of Sophie Solandres, a criminal expert, opposite Steve Martin (Inspector Jacques Clouseau).

Indian hockey players to go on hunger strike after the announcement that the Indian Team Cricket players will receive cash awards from central and four state governments of Maharashtra, Haryana, Jharkhand and Karnataka for winning the Twenty20 World Cup. Their contention is that why was not a similar genture announced when the hockey team won the Asian Continental Championship early this month without lossing a match.
The other question here would be that, who's money is being used to pay the players who are already paid well by the cricket board? I just hope that this money is not the tax payers and could be better used somewhere less.

It was announced that Prashant Tamang from Darjeeling got the most votes and will be crowned the Indian Idol 3, winner beating his friend Amit Paul for the title of Indian Idol 3. Prashant is Kolkata constable from Darjeeling and received more then seven crore votes. Prashant total the show with his singing of Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen from the Hindi film Baazigar. While Amit sang Duma Dum Mast Kalandar. Bollywood actor John Abraham announced Tamang the winner.

Prashant is a good singer but Amit is a much better overall singer and should have won the Indian Idol title. This show has turned into not finding the best Indian Idol but who can get more votes. Prashant had the big backing of his state and his fellow collegees which have lifted him to the title of Indian Idol over Amit.
I feel they should change the voting for Indian Idol in the future to avoid such one sideness for a contentants.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 is all set of a all new season. The show is to start to air from September 28, 2007 on Sony Entertainment Television. This year the show will have three new judges, to include Urmila Matondkar , Shiamak Davar, and Jeetendra. The show will feature 12 stars being trained by Choreographer to dance away and win the audience heart to be crowned the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 winner.

India wins a thrilling match to knock the home team South Africa out of the Twenty20 tournment. India won the toss and elected to bat, India's starting was not good with 61 for four in the 11th over, but with help from Rohit Sharma (50 not out, 40 balls, seven fours, two sixes) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni's (45, 33 balls, four four, one six) lead India to a defended total of 153 for five in 20 overs. Now it was up to the Indian bowler to show there stuff and they did. RP Singh led the way with terrific fielding and even more terrific bowling. He finished with four for 13 in four overs, while Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh grabbed two wickets each. South Africa never had a chance with lossing early wickets and never able to get things under control. Now India will face Australia on Sep 22.

Vudu, Inc., in Santa Clara, California, will be introducing a new TV set top device called Vudu box. The Vudu box is scheduled to be launced later this year for around $300. The device will be directly connected to your TV via HDMI, component or composite video connections and will be capable of displaying DVD-quality movies instantaneously using a peer-to-peer technology. This means that the movie will not be downloaded from a central location but instead from other online Vudu box.

Today begin the final lap for the two remaining contestants for the Indian Idol 3, Amit Paul and Prashant Tamang. Who will the next Indian Idol, Amit or Prashant? Amit has the great voice and the personality, but Prashant seems to have the public. Only time will tell who takes the next crown of Indian Idol.

Today marked a new beginning in the world of cricket. The Twenty20 cricket format will be used during the ICC World Twenty20 tournament being held in South Africa. The tournament will have 12 teams divided into 4 group play the 1st round. The teams are Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Kenya, New Zealand, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Zimbabwe.

Indian Idol 3 to the final 3. On today's show, Adnan Sami, was the guest judge and he had given his songs choice to the 3 contestants to sing. Emon started off with Yeh jo mohhabat hai from Kati Patang, followed by Ek ladki beegi bhaagi si and then Amit Paul followed up with Kora Kaagaz Tha Yeh Mann Mera. All three sang really well and received high marks from all the judges. Then in round 2, Enom sang Banke tera jogi, Prashant with Bheege honth tere and Amit Betaab dil.

India Win In Thrilling Fashion At The Oval
09/06/2007:
Sachin Tendulkar , Saurav Ganguly , and Robin Uthappa lead India to a thriling victory over England in the 6th ODI played at the Oval. England batted first and set a big total of 317 runs for India to chase. India came out hitting with Sachin and Saurav partnering for 150 runs for the opening stand. They both was dismissed within a short time there after the run rate climbed. Sachin again was left short by 6 runs to get yet another century. The middle order played well but quick outs left the total out of sight. Dhoni and Uthappa played well and until Dhoni was dismissed with 2 overs left and Uthappa made some great stoke to get India the win with 2 balls to spare.

Deepika Padukone And Akshay Kumar In Made In China

Akshay Kumar and . Deepika Padukone will be seen together in a new Bollywood movie named Made in China (2009) . The film is being directed by Nikhil Advani and is an action packed film to be shot in China starting in early 2008. During the shooting the film stars will stay in Shanghai and Beijing.
