Om Puri to star in yet another Hollywood film, this will is titled Charlie Wilson’s War and stars Hollywood actors Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. Om Puri will play the role of ex Pakistan President Zia-Ul-Haq. The film is set during the period when Afghanistan was raided by U.S.S.R. and the Americans wanted to use the help of Pakistan to help Afghanistan get freedom from U.S.S.R. Shooting of the film will start next month with schedules in Morocco and USA.

J.P Dutta's Umrao Jaan will be the first Aishwarya Rai of the year. It stars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan . According to the director this movie is based on literary work Umrao Jaan Ada published in 1904 and not a remake of Rekha starrer Umrao Jaan. The films costumes budget was worth Rs 80 million ranging from expensive ethnic outfits to embroidered designer wears worn by beautiful Aishwarya Rai.

Britney Spears gave birth to her second son just days before their 1st son Sean Preston's first birthday. The baby boy was delivered at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles as reported by Us Weekly. This is the second child for Spears, 24, and her husband, Kevin Federline, 28, who has a has a daughter and a son with actress Shar Jackson.

Aishwarya Rai was spotted during a shooting of a commercial, for Lux International, in Dubai and her fans caused massive jams on city roads, the traffic was all around the Shaikh Zayed Road from Dubai to Jebel Ali. The commercial was directed by Bollywood directory, Rohan Sippy. Aishwarya Rai should also get a big boost once the release of the The Last Legion on January 19, 2007. In which she plays the role of Mira, in a story that is set against the backdrop of the fall of Rome in 476AD. Ash will next been seen in Umrao Jaan and Dhoom 2 , which are slated for release later this year.

China To Showcase Aishwarya Rai films

Aishwarya Rai films Chokher Bali (Bengali) and Bollywood hit Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam will be showcased at the Indian film festival to be held in China Beijing from August 25 to 31 and then in Shanghai in the first week of September. The film festival has been organised by the Indian Embassy.
