Aishwarya Rai Bachchan May Sue Elle Magazine

A recent picture of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on the cover of magazine Elle may have been touched up to make her look more fair (white). The readers were angered after it was suggested that the fashion magazine might have digitally “bleached” the complexion of the former Miss World. The picture in question is a recent cover of magazine Elle in which Aishwarya is dressed in a Rohit Bal’s Victorian styled gown. Previously the magazine had also featured an African-American actress Gabourey Sidibe on its cover page with a much paler complexion, for its US edition in September this year.

Candice Boucher To Make Bollywood Debut

South African Playboy hottie Candice Boucher to make her Bollywood debut in Percept's untitled next. Candice will play the role of a sand artist in the movie which will be directed by Prashant Chaddha and stars Sachin Joshi and Arya Babbar . Candice was featured in April 2010 edition of Playboy magazine. Candice is is currently one of the faces of Intimissimi and Guess Jeans.

AR Rahman Get Golden Globe Nominations

Oscar winning Indian composer AR Rahman get Golden Globe nomination for Danny Boyle's 127 Hours. AR Rahman won two Oscars and a Golden Globe for his number 'Jai ho' for the movie Slumdog Millionaire (2008) . AR will be competing for Original Score for a motion picture category against Alexandre Desplat ('The King's Speech'), Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross ('The Social Network'), Danny Elfman ('Alice in Wonderland'), and Hans Zimmer ('Inception'). The soundtrack for the movie contains a popular song 'If I Rise' in which AR collaborated with pop star Dido.
