Google has announced the long awaited phone. The phone is called G1 phone, running Android software is manufactured by HTC, a Taiwanese manufacturer, and will will be offered exclusively by T-Mobile. The G1 is going to provide some competition for Apple’s iPhone. The G1 has some nice functions and features that are building upon the Apples iPhone and BlackBerry. It has a qwerty keyboard which slides out, and a “trackball”. It also allows to download digital music from amazon.com, with easy access to Google applications like Gmail, YouTube, and Google Maps.

09/22/2008:
Next month, India will attempt to launch a lunar probe that will have the mission to travel to the moon. The probe is named Chandrayaan. The planned launch dates are between October 19th to 28th with backup dates in December. Chandrayaan has to still undergo final testing like high temperatures, vibration and acoustic tests. Chandrayaan will carry 11 payloads with five from India, three from the European Space Agency (ESA), one from the Bulgarian Space Agency (BSA) and two from NASA.

Aishwarya Rai And Amitabh Bachchan To Perform At Live Earth Concert 2008

Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are once again going to perform live on stage together. Last time they were part of the The Unforgettable Tour and now they will be dancing at the Live Earth concert to be held at the Andheri Sports Complex on December 07 2008 in Mumbai , India. Jon Bon Jovi and Shekhar Kapur will also be performing on stage. The event is being organized by Al Gore, former vice president and 2007 Nobel Peace Prize, and Kevin Wall.

Taare Zameen Par To The Oscars

Taare Zameen Par (2007) has been selected by the The Film Federation of India (FFI) to represent India at the Oscars and 81st Annual Academy awards in the foreign film category. The film is a directorial debut for Aamir Khan and was well received all over the world by the Indian audience.
Within India the film received six key awards at the Nokia 14th Annual Star Screen Awards. The awards were received for best director, Best Supporting Actor and for Best Dialogues, Best Story (Amol Gupte), Best Child Actor ( Darsheel Zafary ) and Best Lyricist (Prasoon Joshi).

Bakugan Battle Brawlers made it's debut in India on 15 September, 2008 on Cartoon Network. The action adventure animated series will telecast from Monday thru Friday at 5:30 PM on Cartoon Network.
Bakugan Battle Brawlers is an animated series about the lives of Bakugan and the Battle brawlers. The series debuted in Japan on TV Tokyo on April 05, 2007. The debut in the USA was on February 24, 2008 on Cartoon Network.
Some of the main characters are Dan Kuso, Runo Misaki, Marucho Marokuro, Julie Makimoto, Shun Kazami, Alice Gehabich, Masquerade, Joe Brown and Hal G. There are many different types of Bakugans like Dragonoid, Tigrerra and Preyas, Hydranoid, Gorem and Skyress to mentioned a few.

Intel announces new chip series called Dunnington. The Dunnington was fully designed from scratch by I ntel engineers in Bangalore. The Dunnington is the Xeon 7400 series of server chips marks Intel's first 'true' quad-core processors and is produced on a single piece of silicon. The Bangalore design center also become the first team from Intel outside of the US to complete the design of the 45-nanometer processor. With the release of Dunnington, Intel marked a technical milestone by using a monolithic die, putting all of the cores on a single piece of silicon.

Australia will travel to India this weekend to soon start their tour of India. Cricket Australia reviewed the security plan following the bomb blasts in New Delhi. Australia will travel to India on Sep 221, 2008 and then will play tuneup matches in Jaipur and Hyderabad. The first test will begin on October 09, 2008 in Bangalore which will be followed by matches in Mohali, New Delhi and Nagpur.

The forth season of Indian Idol is set to take off on Friday, September 19, 2008 on Sony TV. This season the panel of judges will be Anu Malik, Javed Akhtar, Kailash Kher and Sonali Bendre . The registration for contestants began on April 1st, 2008 with audition have taken place in Ahmedabad (May 7 and May 8), Amritsar (May 9 and May 10), Bangalore (May 12 and May 13, Guwahati (May 13 and May 14), Kolkata (Calcutta) (May 20th), Varanasi (May 16 and 17) and Delhi (23 May).
The final 100 probably have been choosen and final 30 will be choosen by October 2008. The Grand Finale of Indian Idol season 4 is scheduled for on or about February 2009.
So are you ready for another fun season of good music and be part of Indian Idol 4?

Raj Thackeray Accepts Amitabh Bachchan Apology

A big deal was made of what Jaya Bachchan said at the music launch of Abhishek Bachchan , upcoming movie, Drona (2008) . Now B Big has formally apologized in a public press conference for comments made by his wife. The apology has also been accepted by Raj Thackeray. Now Amitabh Bachchan can concentrated in his movie, The Last Lear (2008) , releasing this Friday, September the 12th.

Aishwarya Rai And Rajnikanth Shooting For Enthiram

Shankar’s Robot (Enthiram) (2008) is now Enthiram (2008) (Tamil for Robot). The title of the movie had to be changed since Shahrukh Khan ’s Red Chillies has already registered the movie name Robot with Association of Motion Pictures and TV Programme Producers (AMPTPP) in Mumbai . Now that the name has been resolved, the crew left for the USA last week to start to shot two songs composed by AR Rahman, starting September 8. Other details provided by Producers Ayngaran International Films Pvt Ltd and Eros International include Mary E Vogt will design the futuristic outfits, Stan Winston Studio (USA) will do the animatronics and Yuen Woo Ping is in charge of the stunts. Visual effects (VFX) will be provided by Hollywood companies ILM, Tippet, Cafe EFX and Centro and Menfond based out of Hong Kong. The movie stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajnikanth .
Mary E Vogt has worked on the costume designer of Men in Batman Returns, Black, and Inspector Gadget. Yuen Woo Ping has worked on Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Matrix and Kill Bill. Stan Winston Studio has helped with Predator, Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbor, Iron man, Terminator and I Robot.

Now that the The Unforgettable Tour has finished its world tour, its is going to be Shahrukh Khan that will come out to mesmerizes the audience with a live tour. The tour is called Temptation Reloaded 2008 and set to begin with a live performance in Berlin, Germany on October 17, 2008, followed by Munich, Germany on October 18 and Frankfurt, Germany on October 19. The tour will also include other stars from Indian cinema like Aamir Khan , Priyanka Chopra , Malaika Arora , and Arjun Rampal . Comedian Kaya Yanar will also be part of the tour.

Shahrukh Khan Receives Notice The Bombay High Court

Today, the Bombay High Court issued a notice to Indian cinema actor Shahrukh Khan in regrads to an illegal construction in the backyard of his palatial bungalow Mannat at suburban Bandra, Mumbai. The is in reference to apartnelty 32 violations of law in the construction. The PIL was filed by social activist Simpreet Singh and contained allegation that the construction was done by merging 12 flats meant to house the poor.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will paired in another movie together. This one is a remake of Abhimaan, in which his father, Amitabh Bachchan and mother, Jaya Bhaduri, starred opposite each other. The movie will be made by Rajiv Menon, who have given us movies like Sapnay and the Tamil, Kandukonde Kandukonde. Currently the couple are shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Ramayan (Ravana) (2008) and upon it's completion they will start to work on Dhun (2009) .

Shoaib Malik Denies Affair With Sayali Bhagat

Tata has suspended work on the Nano plant at Singur, Kolkata. The company silently pulled out all its staff from the besieged Singur factory on Thursday night. Now the company will have to prepare a plan to relocate the plant for the now famous Nano car manufacturing. The company will try to relocate the already trained staff at the alternate location as much as possible.

Google launches its own browser on Labor Day holiday. The much anticipated browser is called, called "Chrome" was announced over the holidays with downloads available as early as Tuesday 02 September 2008. The browser will run on Microsoft's Windows operating system and efforts by Google are still underway to also offer the browser in compatible with Apple Inc.'s Mac computer and the Linux operating system. The download is going to be available in more then 100 countries. This will put the new browser against MicroSoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla's free browser Firefox.
