Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan to wed?

Is a wedding in the planning for Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan ? The rumor mills are going wild with the latest rumor that both families have consented to the wedding of the hottest pair in Bollywood. Aishwarya Rai , Bollywood leading lady and former Miss World, and Abhishek Bachchan have been working very closly in the last couple of months on Umrao Jaan , Guru and Dhoom 2 and that may have let the star pair to get closer. Both famlies believe in matching horoscopes and both stars are believed to be Mangliks. A wedding between two mangliks with matching horoscopes is considered very auspicious.

Mona Singh Win Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Final

The final of Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa was not much surprising. The final lastest more then 2 hours where all dance pairs came together and danced. In the end the winner was announced to be no other then the famous Jassi (Mona Singh). She has become so well known with the Indian public, due to the great success of her show Jassi Jassi Kou Nia, that could have led her to get such great public response.
Personnally I thought Shveta should have won, she danced great and she brought the sexyness that the songs demanded. Mona was a good dancer but I think between the two, Shveta was better and more smoother.

John and Bipasha To Star Together In Goal

John Abraham and Bipasha Basu have signed up to star together in Vivek Agnihotri’s Goal (2007) . The pair are a off screen pair and last starred together in Jism and Madhoshi. In Goal Bipasha plays a Pakistani girl.

Sushmita Sen To Play Radha In Sholay

Sushmita Sen to play the role of widow Radha in Ram Gopal Varma's Sholay (2006) until now everyone was under the impression that Sushmita would be playing the role of Basanti. She will be replacing the role that was going to be played by Katrina Kaif . Ram's explains that Radha in the new Sholay will be more practical.

Akbar-Jodha Caught Up In Controvery Before It Starts

Jodha Akbar (2007) is being directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar and stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in the roles of Akbar, the great Moghul emperor and Jodhabhai, a Hindu princess married with Akbar. The movie is scheduled to start to film in the coming weeks has met up with huge resistance from Kshatriya segment of society. Their main concern has been that the film may not be protaying the truth about what has happended.

A R Rahman has been replaced by the team of Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani to give music to Farah Khan’s forthcoming film Om Shanti Om (2007) . The movie is being produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s banner, Red Chillies Entertainment. Vishal-Shekhar will also be providing the music for Gaurang Doshi’s Happy Birthday (2007) , which is starring John Abraham and Aishwarya Rai .

2007 to start off with 3 big releases. Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007) by Yash Raj, Salaam E Ishq (2007) directed by Nikhil Advani and Fool and Final (2007) by Firoz A. Nadiadwala are scheduled to be released January 2007. Eklavya, The Royal Guard (2007) , Metro and Hat Trick will be release in Feburary 2007. UTV will also release Mira Nair’s The Namesake (2007) in March. Sony has officially announced Saanvariya (2007) being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali will release in Diwali 2007 (9th November), another film scheduled for release in October is Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodha Akbar (2007) . The historical multi-crore Jodha Akbar (2007) , starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai , will begin shooting in November 2006 and will ready for on 12th October 2007.

As Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his birthday on october 11, the French government announced it would honour Amitabh with the 'Officer of the Legion of Honour' – the country’s highest civilian award. He would be receving the award for his contribution to Indian and international cultural cinema. Previously Amitabh Bachchan had his voice in the French film March of the Penguins directed by Luc Jacquet.

Katrina Kaif Out of Remake Of Sholay

Katrina Kaif has opted out of Ramu's remake of Sholay cites dates problems, but Ramu says otherwise. Verma had announced that Katrina is no longer playing Radha in his Sholay because of her diction. Katrina is currently busy with the following films, Vipul Shah's Namaste London , Anees Bazmi's Welcome and David Dhawan's Partner .

Google, internet search leader, is buying YouTube for $1.65 billion in a all-stock deal. This will give Google access to another growing market for publishing their ads. YouTube was stared by Chad Hurley in his garage in February 2005 and has grown to shows more than 100 million video clips per day.

Vipul Shah is currently directing his next film called Namaste London starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif which has been caught up in a minor controversy. The controversy happended when Katrina Kaif entered a holy shrine in Ajmer wearing a skirt. Since then Vipul has decided to delete those scenes from the movie.

Lage Raho Munnabhai Oscars Entry

Lage Raho Munnabhai will be submitted to for the Oscars as an independent entry. Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has decided this after the much success and fan demand of the film. The movie is also scheduled to be screened at the University of Southern California on 27th October for the college cinema students and the press from Hollywood.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali gets bail from court for a case against him for a fire that destroyed property worth Crores during the shooting of his previous movie, Black. Current the director is busy shooting, Saanvariya (Saawariya) , which stars two star kids Ranbir (Son of Rishi Kapoor) and Sonam (Daughter of Anil Kapoor).
