Poonam Pandey : Roots For Team India Win At World Cup 2011

Kingfisher Model Poonam Pandey is rooting for team India to win the World Cup 2011 semi final and final and if so she promises to bare all (go nude). Does such promises and display really neseccsary to do self promotion in a sport followed by all Indian? I think this is just a publicity stunt by the model to self promot her and nothing to do with the performance of team India.

Amy Adams To Be Next Lois Lane

Italian born actress and singer Amy Adams has been signed to play the role of journalist Lois Lane in the upcoming Superman reboot from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures. Amy will be joining the company of Henry Cavill, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner on the set for the movie being directed by Zack Snyder. Superman: Man of Steel is currently set for a December 2012 release.

The Blackberry PlayBook has confirmed its spec and launch date. RIM has announced that The Blackberry PlayBook will sale for $499 for 16GB, $599 with 32GB and $699 for 64GB versions, all come with WiFi. The Blackberry PlayBook will be released in the US and Canadian stores on April 19, 2011, while the UK will get the Blackberry PlayBook in the 2nd quatar of this year. The Blackberry PlayBook includes 1GHz dual-core processor, 7” 1024x600 WSVGA capacitive LCD touch screen, Dual cameras capable of recording full 1080p footage, 1GB of RAM, GPS, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and a Digital Compass.

Wold Cup 2011: India vs Australia at Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad
03/23/2011:
India vs Australia will be playing the 2nd Quarter Final match at the Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad on March 23, 2011. This will be the 1st time the two teams will meet during Wold Cup 2011. Australia captain Ricky Ponting has already won the World Cup three times and the last two times he won as the captain, while the Indian teams last World Cup win was back in 1983. The eyes will be on Sachin Tendulkar , who has 99 international hundreds (51 in Tests and 48 in one-day internationals), and team Australia will hope it does not come tomorrow.

Now it is Mallika Sherawat turn for an item song. In 2010, we had Malaika Arora Khan, with Munni Badnaam Hui in movie Dabangg (2010) and Katrina Kaif dancing to Sheila Ki Jawani in Tees Maar Khan (2010) performing an item number. Malliika has already shot the promotional song Jalebi Bai for her next project Double Dhamaal.

Ranbir Kapoor And Nargis Fakhri? What about Katrina Kaif?

Can it be true that Ranbir Kapoor is now going out with Nargis Fakhri , who also happens to star opposite him in his upcoming film Rockstar (2011) . Recently both where spotted coming out of a Mumbai multiplex with his friend Ayaan Mukherji. If this was a real date, then the Ranbit and Katrina pair did not last that long. For some time Katrina has suspected that Ranbir and Nargis were going out, and hence came to Delhi on the sets of thier film Rockstar.

Italian super sports car Ferrari will be launched in India in the coming months. The Ferrari car will be available at the price of 2.27 crore to 3.37 crore. Ferrari, part of Italy's largest car company Fiat Auto, has made a deal with India's Shreyans group to import and sell these cars by spring this year (2011). The first showroom will start in Delhi in the first half of this year and then followed by Mumbai in the second half of this year. Ferrari will compete with the likes of super sports cars like Lamborghini which is part of the Volkswagen Group.

Meiyang Chang became popular when he made it to the top five in Indian Idol 3 and year after ancorhed the show. He then made his Bollywood film debut in Badmaash Company (2010) . Now is he won the dance title in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 4 . The 28 year old Chang is a professional dentist and a singer but has won the hearts of Indian fan as a singer and actor. Meiyang forefathers lived in China's Hubei province.

Abhishek Bachchan will after 6 years once again rap in his upcoming movie Dum Maaro Dum (2011). Last time Abhishek was rapping in front of a microphone was in movie Bluffmaster (2006) . Dum Maaro Dum also stars Bipasha Basu, Aditya Pancholi, Rana Daggubati, Prateik Babbar, with special appearance in an item song Deepika Padukone . Ireland shocks England with a stunning win behind the bat of Kevin O'Brien. Kevin scored the fastest 100 (century) ever in World Cup one day match. Kevin's 100 was faster then the previous record by Australia opener Matthew Hayden's World Cup century record off 66 balls against South Africa at St Kitts in 2007. Kevin scored 113 off 63 balls, including six sixes and 13 fours, but was run out by Stuart Broad's throw to wicketkeeper Matt Prior late in the match. Back in 2007, Ireland made World Cup history when they shocked Pakistan, also by three wickets, to knock them out of the tournament. Ireland won with five balls to spare, Ireland finished with the score 329 for 7, after England had made 327 for 8. Ireland will now face India on Sunday March 6, 2011 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore, India.
