Amitabh Bachchan disassociates himself from his forthcoming movie's publicity banners

Amitabh Bachchan has been given a legal notice for appearing in an advertisement showing him smoking a cigar in publicity banner for his next release, Family . He has also apologised to an anti-tobacco group and has promised not to not promote smoking in future Bollywood promotions. In fact, the anti-tobacco NGOs have asked the actor to express his solidarity with the movement since the megastar apperance in electronic and print media and denounce smoking can help convice the people that he is a teetotaller and hates smoking.
