Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan has both being nominated for the ZEE Cine Awards 2006 Best Actor award. The Big B has been nominated for his role in Black and the junior Bachchan has been nominated for his role in Bunty Aur Babli . The ZEE Cine Awards award this year will be held in Mauritius on Saturday 4th March and shown Live on ZEE TV India. Others who have been nominated for the best actor award are Ajay Devgan (Apaharan), Akshay Kumar (Waqt), Saif Ali Khan (Parineeta) and Shahrukh Khan (Paheli).
