Ram Gopal Verma has decided to shelve his forthcoming film Time Machine which stared Shahrukh Khan and instead decided to start work on the remake of Sholay . It was also announced that Himesh Reshammiya , currently the hottest music director turned singer, who will be providing the music for the movie will also be singing the famous Mehbooba Mehbooba for the film. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan as Gabbar Singh and Urmila Matondkar will dance to Mehbooba Mehbooba.

Controversy over Aamir Khan 's comments still keeping Fanaah from Gujarat. Now the local in small towns are withdrawing commercials and posters with Aamir's name. In Ahmedabad and Vadodra car dealers of Totyota cars have decided to withdraw Aamir Khan 's ad posters promoting the brand's Inovo car. To promote the film, Yash Raj Films has has introduced an array of collector's items like stainless steel cup and saucer, and a chilli pendant called "Mirchi Fanaa pendant".

Aishwarya Rai is currently at the Cannes film festival to promote her film Provoked . This is were the sensuous Indian former Miss World confirmed that she was a victim of domestic violence which by considence is the subjet of her next movie, Provoked , directed by Jagmohan Mundhra. It is a known fact that Salman and Ash shared a strange relationship, and that Salman was extremely possessive of his then lady love Ash. The film is expected to be released September 2006. Aishwarya Rai also made a reference to a future biography on herself that she will write.

Hanuman 2 Being Readied for Deepawali 2007

The beautiful actress, Priyanka Chopra got great reviews for portraying a negative character in Aitraaz, which was also directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by Subhash Ghai and then again made a guest appearance in Milan Luthria’s Taxi Number 9211 (2006) . 36 China Town is due to release this week and stars Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor . The movie is a murder mystery(thriller) and hence the producers and director have decided to not hold any private screenings, not even for the film’s actors or distributors.
