Cricketer's Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara in a Bollywood film? The news has it that Producer Vivek Vasvani is currently gearing up for his next release, Dulha Mil Gaya , which is to star Sachin Tendulkar Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, and Sushmita Sen . The film will be shot in Trinidad and Tobago to promote tourism spot as the Trinidad and Tobago embassy are investing in the production.

Eros To Distribute 'Provoked' Starring Aishwarya Rai

Eros International has acquired the rights to distribute Aishwarya Rai ’s latest release, Provoked, in the UK, the US and India. Provoked is directed by Jag Mundhra and casts Rai (Bride and Prejudice, Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) in the lead role, with Miranda Richardson, Robbie Coltrane and Nandita Das. The movie is based on true story of a Punjabi woman named Kiranjit Ahluwalia who moves to England and marries a man who subjects her to violent physical abuse.

Aishwarya Rai in Kerala for picturisation of a song for Mani Ratnam 's movie Guru starring Abhishek Bachchan . The first part of the song was shot in Mysore and the scene at Athirapally, near Kochi, known for its waterfalls.

Bipasha Basu accuses organizers at India Day Parade at Edison Township of harassment

Bipasha Basu is currently in the USA to take part in the India Day Parade at Edison Township, New Jersey for which she was the lead the parade down New Jersey’s Oak Tree Road which is heavliy populated by Indians. She ended up coming late to the parade and during her on stage speech accused two of the organizers who escorted her to the parade, of harassing her physically and mentally.

Priyanka Chopra, former Miss World, has been officially been chosen as the Style Diva of 2006 by an online poll conducted through June and July. She was presented by Ebay India the eBay Style Diva trophy. At the award presentation Priyanka announced an charity auction that will be featured on Ebay between August 10th and 19th in which the proceeds will be donated to Nanhi Kali foundation, provides education of the girl child.

Kareena and Aamir Together For The Firsttime

Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan have been signed by Mani Ratnam for his next movie, Lajjo . This will mark the first time that Kareena and Aamir have acted together. The film will began shooting in January 2007 and release later in the year. The film is an adaptation of Ismat Chugtai’s book with the same title. Kareena has previously worked with Mani Ratnam in Yuva and is currently shooting for him in Guru .

Bollywood stars to perform at Mauritius concert organized by Entertainment Quotient and Pro Global Concept being held at the Anjalay Stadium, Belle Vue. The stars include Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) , Priyanka Chopra , Zayed Khan , Malaika Arora Khan and Celina Jaitley . Bombay Vikings will perform some numbers. Ganesh Hegde is the choreographer of the show.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The first of Dubai's three palm-shaped islands is finally about to get its first residents. The Palm Jumeirah is a 12-square-mile island group which is known as the largest land-reclamation project in the world. It took about five years of hauling of millions of tons of Persian Gulf sand and quarried rock to build. It is scheduled to be fully completed in 2010 and will be home to about 60,000 residents and at least 50,000 workers in 32 hotels and dozens of shops and attractions. The project is costed at $14 billion and sets to rival Singapore and Hong Kong as a business hub.
