Martina Hingis was today banned for 2 years for testing positive for cocaine at Wimbledon last year. The International Tennis Federation conducted an independent anti-doping tribunal which found the former tennis test very positive. Hingis announced her retirement Nov. 1, 2007, the same day the it was revealed that her test had come back positive. Hingis was a women's tennis superstar between 1997-2000, during which time she had won three straight Australian Opens, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.
