Bollywood has taken big steps to enter the Hollywood film market. Anil Ambani , an Indian business man, has announced a investment of $1 billion into Hollywood with a series of deals with top stars like George Clooney, Nicholas Cage, Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt. During the recent Cannes Film Festival news emerged that Reliance Big, the entertainment arm of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, has invested over a $1 billion into Hollywood. Some of the partners include Mr Cage's Saturn Productions, Mr Clooney's Smokehouse Productions, Mr Hanks' Playtone Productions, and more.
India is the largest maker of files in the world, with over 3.7 billion tickets sold every year and more then 1000 films being released each year.
