Boston Celtics Win NBA Championship Title 2008

The Boston Celtics won the Basketball News NBA Championship Title by crushing the Los Angeles Lakers 131 to 92 in the 6th game of the final. The Celtics played well all around with their key players playing their best game with Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen ledding the way with 26 points each, and Rajon Rondo with 21 points, while Paul Pierce only had 17 points but made up with 10 assists. The win marks Boston's 17th NBA Championship, the last one over 22 years ago. Only last year, Boston finished with league's worst records with just 24 wins, marking a great turned around by the team and their coach, Doc Rivers.
On the other hands the Lakers seemed to have been jetlagged by their trip from the west coast. Kobe Bryant started well with 3 three pointer in the first couple of minutes, but then was kept quite for the rest of the game with no major impacts. He could not break thru the Boston's defenese.
