India To Reach For The Moon

Next month, India will attempt to launch a lunar probe that will have the mission to travel to the moon. The probe is named Chandrayaan. The planned launch dates are between October 19th to 28th with backup dates in December. Chandrayaan has to still undergo final testing like high temperatures, vibration and acoustic tests. Chandrayaan will carry 11 payloads with five from India, three from the European Space Agency (ESA), one from the Bulgarian Space Agency (BSA) and two from NASA.
