India’s first 3D animated TV series

On May 11, Nick India, started airing a new TV series based on Little Krishna. The 13 episode series, dubbed in Hindi and English, is India's first 3D animated TV series developed at the cost of 50 crore. It was developed by Reliance’s BIG Animation Studio in association with The Indian Heritage Foundation and was scripted by Jeffrey Scott, the man behind the Ice Age and Ninja Turtles television series. Parikshit Dasa of Lion King was in charge of art direction. The series created content that required 30 Terra Bytes of virtual space and was supported by gigabyte network through RX Foundry for smooth work flow process, while Blue Arc was used as the storage system.
