The 1st Indian Idol : Abhijeet Sawant
	Abhijeet Sawant Won the honor of being the 1nd Indian Idol in 2005.
The 2nd Indian Idol : Sandeep Acharya
	Sandeep Acharya Won the honor of being the 2nd Indian Idol in 2006.
The 2nd Indian Idol : Sandeep Acharya
	Prashant Tamang Won the honor of being the 3nd Indian Idol in 2007.
	Sourabhee Debbarma Won the honor of being the 4th Indian Idol and the 1st Female Indian Idol in 2009.
The Judges In 2004-2005, the 1st edition of the popular Indian idol contest was judged by of Sonu Nigam, Anu Malik and Farah Khan. They again judged the next set of contestants for year 2005-2006, Indian Idol 2 but for season 3 of Indian Idol two new judges joined Anu Malik, and they were Udit Narayan and Alisha Chinoy. In season 4, Udit Narayan and Alisha Chinoy were replaced with Kailash Kher and Sonali Bendre.

	Salim Merchant Salim Merchant is a music director duo and singers. The duo consists of two brothers, Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant. The duo have provided music for success movies like Neal N Nikki (2005) , Chak De India (2007) , Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (RNBDJ) (2008) and Fashion (2008) to mention a few.
