Preity Zinta to play gangster in next film?

Preity Zinta has been keeping herself busy with her Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team, Kings XI Punjab team and her TV show, but now it seems that she has been offered a role in a film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. Preity has read the script and has agreed to work in the film but has not formly signed as she is away from Mumbai. Per the script she is to play a gangster, with the film provisionally titled Jai Ramji. Others who will be in the movie include Irfan Khan , Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda. Preity was last seen in Main Aur Mrs Khanna (2008) , which costarred Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor . And her latest film Har Pall (2007) is still awaiting release after costar Shiney Ahuja was imprisoned for sexual assault.

Preity Zinta And Ness Wadia Split

After being together for alomst four years, Bollywood actress and part owner of IPL team Kings XI Punjab, Preity Zinta has confirmed an end to her romantic relationship with Ness Wadia. Both are also part owner in the IPL team Kings XI Punjab and are currently in South Africa were the matches are being played. The rumor about their splits has been in the air for a while, but Preity finally confirmed the split via an email to her team.

Preity Zinta Meets New Zealand’s PM
Date: 03/06/2009:
Preity Zinta was last seen in the movie Heroes (2008) and recently has been in the new regrads to her involvement in IPL team Kings XI Punjab which is partly ownes alongs with her boyfreind Ness Wadia. She is currently in New Zealand by invitation from New Zealand Tourism Board and New Zealand Cricket and during her visit she met up with Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key. During her visit she plans to watch the cricket one day series between India and New Zealand. Preity will next been seen in Har Pall (2009) which is planned for release later this year.

Bollywood Stars Buy Into Cricket

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) and Preity Zinta have into the Indian Premier League (IPL) . Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) and Juhi Chawla Juhi Chawla picked up the Kolkata team for $75.09 million while Fellow actor Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia won the Mohali team for USD 76 million. The Mumbai team was won by Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani for $111.9 million and GMR Holdings won the bid for the Delhi team for $84 million, India Cements grabbed the Chennai team for $91 million, Deccan Chronicle got the Hyderabad team for $107.01 million and Emerging Media won the bid for the Jaipur team for $67 million.

Preity Zinta Replaces Priyanka Chopra

Preity Zinta has been choosen to replace Priyanka Chopra in Karan Johar's next project. Karan Johar is producing a movie to be directed by his assistant, Tarun Mansukhani which is also the first productions under Karan's banner, Dharma Productions. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan , John Abraham , and now along with Preity Zinta . Yet again, this will also be the most awaited film of 2008.

Preity Zinta signed as brand ambassador

Preity Zinta has been signed by Indian ow cost airline GoAir as their brand ambassador. She will be featured in future GoAir promotions and ad campaigns. Currently she is working on a movie with Amitabh Bachchan , The Last Lear (2007) and will be next seen in the movie Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (2007) opposite Abhishek Bachchan .

Preity Zinta To Appear In Court
Date: 12/12/2006
Preity Zinta , Bollywood movie star, will be appearing in metropolitan magistrate's court in Girgaum in south Mumbai to be examined a defamation case she filed against a tabloid in 2005. The tape were examined by the forensic laboratory in Chandigarh, which said the voices were not that of Salman and Aishwarya Rai.
